Why would my prescriber order a compounded medication?
- A prescriber may order compounding when a commercially available product isn't the right fit, for instance to reach a dose or form that isn't manufactured, to avoid a dye or preservative, to combine medications, or to make a medication easier to take. Your prescriber will determine what's appropriate.

Can you flavour medication for children?
- Yes, we can add palatable flavours to make a medication easier to take. Speak with our pharmacist about the options.
Can you make a dye-free or preservative-free version?
- Compounding can avoid dyes, preservatives, and fillers when needed. Speak with our pharmacist and your prescriber about what's possible for your medication.
Do you compound medications for pets?
- Yes, we prepare veterinary compounds in partnership with your veterinarian. Ask your veterinarian to send us the prescription.
Do I need a prescription for a compounded medication?
